What is this and why should you care
Here's something wild: you can rent an H100, the most sought-after GPU on the planet, for completely different prices depending on which website you land on first. We're talking 2x, sometimes 3x differences for the exact same hardware.
Most people don't know this. They go to the first provider they heard about, pay whatever price is listed, and move on. Totally reasonable. Also totally leaving money on the table.
We built Compute Cafe because we kept running into this problem ourselves. Every time we needed GPU compute we'd do this annoying tab-hopping dance across five different provider websites, trying to mentally compare specs and prices that weren't formatted the same way, for hardware that wasn't described the same way, with availability that changed faster than we could check.
It sucked. So we fixed it.
Every six hours our collector hits the 128 providers on the panel, with live-API sources refreshing hourly. US majors like RunPod, Lambda Labs and CoreWeave. Independents like TensorDock, Voltage Park and SF Compute. India: E2E Networks, JarvisLabs, Neysa, Spheron, InHosted, AIC Cloud. Japan: Sakura Internet. It pulls their listings, normalizes everything into the same format, and drops it all into one clean table. Sorted by price. Filterable by GPU. No account needed. No friction. Just open the site and see the market. Every number carries a receipt - the source and the observation time - on the listing itself.
Think of it like Google Flights but for GPUs. You'd never book a flight without checking multiple airlines first. Why would you rent compute any differently?
The GPU compute market is genuinely one of the most interesting markets to watch right now. Supply is constrained. Demand from AI is exploding. New providers are popping up. Prices swing. We're watching it so you have a live pulse on what's actually happening out there.
The site is free, the data is free, and when you find a listing you like you go straight to the provider. Some outbound links may be referral links that earn us a commission if you sign up. Those are always disclosed on the methodology page, and they never affect what we show or how we sort. Ranking is by price, period.
This isn't a sophisticated business. It's a useful tool. There's a difference.
